There are moments in life where we feel overwhelmed, left out, unloved, neglected and wonder what went wrong.
Sometimes it’s our own fault and sometimes it’s not. More often than not though, it’s our fault.
Why?
Simply because we allow certain things to take place in our life that should not. We allow people, jobs, business ventures, friendships, intimate relationships to influence our decisions instead of following our gut.
Then there’s the everyday struggles that can be so bad at times that we really and truly cannot see a way out of.
Why are we doing this to ourselves? Could it be the need to feel accepted? Could it be the need to feel loved, appreciated, wanted, to feel beautiful?
Taking a look at your life, a deep look not just a surface glance. This will help so much if you are true to what you see. What do I mean?
Sit-down and look at how you structure your day, how you speak to yourself when you’re alone, how you interact with your friends, as far as friends, it’s not what you say to them but your response to what they say. Your response to unacceptable behaviors. Some of us need to revamp and trade-in our friendships and other relationships for new and beneficial ones.
As far as jobs, business, and the public. If we follow our gut, intuition, conscious thought when something does not feel right, we will be so much better off.
We have to stop sacrificing what does not serve us for the sake of a relationship, friendship, employee, business, job, or anything else. If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed and unhappy…
It’s time to have a deeper dive into what the root cause is and fix it, remove it or tweak it.
Let’s stop saying that we are overwhelmed and stressed but not taking the necessary steps to put an end to it. We can be our own reason for the negative feelings and poor mental health by allowing what shouldn’t be.
Let’s change that starting today.
To your mental strength
